FROM NOW ON VEGGIE AND VEGAN ARE THE STANDARD

MR. Smakers has been serving Utrecht’s favourite burgers since we opened our first restaurant 10 years ago.

Since then, a young generation of chefs and grillmasters have taken over the kitchens of our family restaurants. They stay true to the most beautiful and widely appreciated traditions, whilst adding a contemporary, creative and sustainable touch to the menu.

The new generation of Smakers is launching a renewed concept. Creativity and sustainability are the key pillars, resulting in artisanal and locally sourced products! This means the best burger is getting even better – for both you and the planet.

Meneer Smakers is incredibly proud of the new menu and warmly invites everyone to come and taste it at our location in Utrecht. And a new concept, of course, calls for a fresh look. Meneer Smakers wants to stand out! That’s why he has chosen a colorful and eccentric brand identity.

With the newtro style, the different generations of Smakers are connected. The location at Twijnstraat has received a complete newtro makeover. You’re more than welcome to experience one of our dishes in this fully renewed concept!

10 YEARS OF HISTORY

MR. Smakers has been known for years as the place to be for the best burgers in town. But in 2023 it is time to think about sustainability. Although the burgers on the menu were made of traditional meat, a vegetarion option was also available for each burger. With an eye to the future, MR. Smakers is now going all veggie with the location on the Nobelstraat, the other 3 locations in Utrecht will follow later.

LOCALLY GROWN POTATO FRIES

MR. Smakers is really passionate about artisanal food and use local products whenever possible. Except from the burgers, the vegan buns (and free of  e-numbers) are also made with love by a baker’s family from Utrecht. In addition, the fries come also from the area, they are grown on the land of a befriended farmer out of Werkhoven.
